Review and Feedback from Readers

  1. The story revolves around the lives of three friends in IIT, one girl and two guys. Rings bells of yet another love triangle! Read on. The book goes through the ups and downs in their lives, their college life, their personal lives, their professional lives.

I liked the protagonist a lot who for me in one line is "a brilliant mind who chooses to follow his heart".

The best part of the book for me are the (long but don't feel long) discussions between characters which stimulate your mind and heart at the same time. A great mix of philosophy and logic in these discussions.

A very easy read as well. You won't know when it ended after you start to read.

Don't miss, must read, five star!

Each one can corelate to one or other circumstance of the story line. It a natural scrip which move the story in a normal smooth way and thats the beauty of book.

  3. Hi Ravindra,
Sorry for late response. Let me congratulate you on your fantastic book. You have created indian version of Howard Roark. Recall when you barged into bus and handed me over sample chapter while I was reading The Fountainhead. Well a job very well done with style. Never hesitate to approach a stranger. If they connect, it is instantaneously. Got hold of your book two weeks later. I enjoyed it reading.

    All the best.

  4. Completed it last midnight(Three nights in a row actually).....Have to say i am a Hardcore Chetan Bhagat Fan and have also read Amitabh Bagchi's 'Above Average' but this 'Maverick Heart' book really got me up to put some purpose in my life in-spite of all the appointments, setbacks and heartbreak that almost everyone of us suffer at some point in Life.Rahul's character does appeal's to me more and his against all odds fighting spirit is courageously portrait in the book. Also, the current scenario of RTI & fight against Corruption goes in very good sync with the book. I liked the line "Beauty lies in completing what you have decided to do !",Simply Awesome Jst like Rahul himself. Brought this book during my Mood Indigo Fest 2012 to IIT B and title made me pic it without reading anything about it and this one's is a to me a Masterpiece.
Hope to see more books from U Ravindra Sir. Congratz on this Awesome start !

  5. Completed it one stretch. Congrats Ravi.
Ravindra Shukla brings a unique perspective to the world combining a glorious, personal vision of consciousness and insightful view of current Indian youth. Maverick at Heart is a compelling story of what may lie ahead for all of us in the life beyond our college days. Its about three mavericks , who have nothing to fear, but everything to lose in the outside world. Kudos to Ravi in shedding some light, on the dilemma we go through to choose head over heart.
Highly recommend to get to know closely the three mavericks at heart.
